► Joining NASES

The National Association of Student Employment Services is the professional representative body for practitioners from all styles of student employment services.

Membership Information

NASES membership demonstrates your commitment to professional management and development within the field of student employment and gives your organisation access to a range of benefits, specific services, and tailored privileges.

Professional Status

  • Your institution can demonstrate NASES membership and professional status by using the NASES membership logo on service promotional materials and stationery.
  • You will be provided with a NASES Membership certificate to display in your service area.
  • NASES Member service details and a link to your institution and service will be displayed in the NASES Job Shop listing on the NASES website.

Training and Events

  • NASES members will receive discounted rates for NASES training events and the annual conference.
  • NASES Membership offers you the opportunity to participate in our annual promotional events SEOTY (Student Employment of the Year) and NSEW (National Student Employment Week).
  • NASES members have the opportunity to attend NASES regional meetings; to network and engage with Job Shops in the region; share best practice; discuss ideas and relevant issues.
  • NASES members receive discounted rate for some AGCAS training events should they wish to attend.
 

 Best Practice

  • NASES members will receive discounted rates on NASES publications. 
  •  NASES members have FREE access to the NASES Business Support Helpline a legal telephone help-line provided by Croner Consulting, offering advice and guidance across a broad range of business and employment issues. 
  • NASES members have the opportunity to join the NASES Executive to further develop the organisation and the student employment sector. 
  • NASES members have the opportunity to set up a NASES working groups, (previous examples include Agency Working Group; International Student Working Group; FE Working Group) to further develop the student employment sector.
 

  Communication

  • NASES members have access to the members only mail base (jiscmail) to facilitate communication between members in a closed forum. 
  • NASES members have access to private members areas within the NASES website including a resource library, best practice directory, and regional mini-sites. 
  • Members will receive a quarterly newsletter (pdf – website) and a monthly e-news update.
  • NASES website is regularly updated with information including; news; factsheets; and event information.
