NSEW 2003
The second National Student Employment Week took place in late February 2003. Fifty Two HEIs took part in the week, which was sponsored by BUNAC.
Student employment services from across the UK host events designed to help bring students and employers together.
The events were varied and included hosting Jobs Fairs, employer mailouts and, prize draws. Leeds University Students Union service – Job Link used the week to launch a Casting Register, designed to help budding actors and actresses find work.
The Job Shop at Bath Spa University College launched a student employer award with a prize draw for students who nominate their employer. The University of Westminster hosted a series of lunch time employer drop-ins, visiting employers included the BBC, House of Fraser, Tesco and Mencap.
