► International alumni networks

This project aims to develop international alumni networks, workplace contacts and case studies. The project is being delivered in two phases: Phase 1: 2009-1010 and Phase 2: 2010-2011.

The objectives of the project are to:
  • provide institution based careers and employment services with funding to conduct research and produce data, case studies and reports on alumni employment contacts and successes;
  • disseminate these case studies and contact details across the sector to enable AGCAS to help institutions to improve the resources and contacts available to their students;
  • encourage innovative ways to develop and share successful alumni-employer contacts and experiences;
  • encourage institutions to develop closer ties with their international alumni.

Phase 1: 2009-2010

Funding was awarded to AGCAS for 5 Pilot Projects to allow the development of better links with UK and  overseas employers and international UK alumni overseas. These projects aim to support the development of an expanded list of employer contacts and of an enhanced resource of success stories / case-studies about international student and graduate employment in the UK and abroad to be available on the AGCAS website international community pages, as well as the NASES PMI2 website.

Projects which were funded were from the following institutions:
