► Morethanwork month

Morethanwork month is co-ordinated by NASES. This year's event begins on 1 October 2012 so please don’t forget to make sure that your student website links to the morethanwork website www.nases.org.uk/students.

During the month FE and HE employment centres arrange a variety of activities to celebrate Morethanwork month. These will include one hour events through to a full month of activities. The type of activities can arrange from:

• employability skills workshops including CVs, interview skills, etc.;
• employment rights and national insurance workshops and presentations etc.;
• promotion of work experience opportunities including part-time, vacation and temporary work, placements and voluntary opportunities;
• workshops on the international student working regulations etc.
