► Postgraduate Qualifications
The University of Reading, together with NASES, NCWE and AgCAS have just launched the Post Graduate Certificate and Diploma in the Management of Student Work Experience which encourages professionalism across the education and employment sector, and is open to anyone currently working or wishing to work in HE and FE, providing information, advice, and guidance to students, in relation to employment and work experience; from part-time jobs to placements, and vacation work to volunteering.
These courses have been launched following 3 years research and development through a unique collaboration between the University of Reading and NASES, supported by AgCAS and NCWE, kindly funded by HECSU.
The programmes will enable practitioners to develop their knowledge and skills in relation to the following key areas of professional practice:

Working with students and employers as clients of the service

Working with educational institutions to establish links between the curriculum and student work experience

The operational and strategic management of the service
