Decision making

What is decision making?

Deciding something means making a choice or coming to a conclusion.

Good decision making requires a range of personal and interpersonal skills, including fact finding, logical thinking, creativity, analytical ability, sensitivity to others and assertiveness.

Problem solving and decision making are closely linked, and each requires creativity in identifying and developing options. Decision making can be enhanced through knowledge of a variety of techniques and processes.
