The University of the Arts London are holding a part-time job fair. The aim is to help fresher’s and returning students secure part-time or temporary jobs whilst studying at the university. Sixteen employers have confirmed and this year we have a broad range of employers – retailers, restaurants, caters, temp recruitment agencies, a design company, a volunteer organisation and a call centre.

Lots happening in Lincoln during the month including the launch of our Lincoln Award; numerous employability workshops for students and we are holding a NINO day for students to get their National Insurance numbers on campus. In addition Enterprise Rent-A-Car are coming to the Jobshop to deliver a student presentation on “what things you can do while you are a student to make you more employable upon graduation”.

The University of Liverpool will be holding its popular annual Part-time Jobs Fair, on Thursday 6 October, in the Careers & Employability Service, 150 Mount Pleasant, L69 3GD. There are currently a large variety of employers taking part and we hope that as many students will attend this year’s Fair as last year, when 1,462 students came through the doors looking for part-time, casual, temporary or seasonal work.
There will be a wide range of vacancies on offer to home and international students which includes charity fundraising, merchandise sales at Liverpool Echo Arena music events, hotel work, banking contact centre roles, on-campus work, event stewarding and seasonal coastal lifeguarding.
Additionally, the Jobcentre Plus/National Insurance Number Team will be at the Fair to advise international students on National Insurance applications. The University of Liverpool’s Financial Support Team (‘The Money Doctors’) will also be handing out advice on statutory funding, debt concerns and welfare benefits.
