Social Media Workshop, Birmingham
What is it, how to take advantage and how to do it well? An overview outlining how social media can form an important part of your marketing and communications plan; practical tips, how to guides and case studies demonstrating how the use of social media can enhance, promote and increase business and brand awareness. The perspective change from how people view communication, and to feel comfortable with letting go some of the (imagined) control they have.
Working with Employers, NASES
An interactive day to help student employment services work effectively to increase business and opportunities for students, utilising all labour market information available and developing sales skills the day will cover:
• The range of options for working with employers
• Using labour market information to build your employer engagement
• Setting a strategy for developing your employer engagement
• The concept of sales
• Planning a sales call including, overcoming objections
• Manage yourself for success
Working with International Students
A joint event run in partnership with UKCISA, this one day training event focuses on the regulations for International Students who want to work during their study. We will focus on the legal implications for students and employers, practical issues for students in terms of getting ready for work, and the importance of your role in international student / employer relations.
