Commerce and trade

• Business Link - free business support and advice service.
• Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTP) - encourages partnerships between academics, business and graduates in order to increase competition and productivity within the UK.
• National Council for Graduate Entrepreneurship (NCGE) - supports graduates into business, promoting the option of starting their own business, and encourages a more entrepreneurial culture in higher education.
• Shell Technology Enterprise Programme (STEP) - promotes the impact of undergraduates on small businesses and offers undergraduate project-based work within small to medium enterprises.
